Review Pullman Bangsar Kuala Lumpur suite

Over the years I have stayed countless times at the Pullman Bangsar Kuala Lumpur, it was and is my go-to hotel in Kuala Lumpur for the times at which I am not living full time in the city.

While I have stayed at multiple room types here this review will focus on the suite rooms to which I received several upgrades as part of my Accor Le Club platinum membership.
Located in Bangsar, one of Kuala Lumpurs high society districts with many upscale bars, restaurants and malls, next to the highway the hotel is operating from one of 3 similar towers that were initially intended as offices. Directly next to it is the iconic TM tower, the headquarter of Malaysias infamous telecommunications operator.

The lobby is very spacious and bright, with a small bistro on the left and the reception counters on the right. Also on the right is a bar with comfortable chairs, in the evening and night hours there will be often live bands playing here. Opposite from the bar is the restaurant that features all day dining until 10pm and also hosts the buffet breakfast in the morning.

While the reception has one member desk, Platinum members and guests with lounge access are invited to check-in at level 30 in the executive lounge. The hotel also has a pool, spa and gym all located together on level 6.

Besides check-in and concierge the executive lounge also offers breakfast with a decent spread of hot and cold options as well as a-la-carte omelettes. Furthermore there is an all-day snacks and soft drinks display, afternoon tea and a happy hour cocktail and snack in the evening.

The lounge is very big and features plenty of dining and lounge seating options. Since there is plenty of staff I never saw the lounge in any other condition than perfect during al of my stays here.

Given that the lounge is on level 30 it also has some pretty nice views on the surrounding area, sadly most of it is highways.

The executive rooms and suites are located on level 28 – 30, so all pretty close to the lounge and on the highest levels in the Pullman Bangsar. The Pullman suite features a separate living room with a TV, sofa and lounge chair while the bedroom next to it has a decent and comfortable king size bed as well as another chair and a desk to work at.

The bedroom also features another TV that is conveniently placed to watch from the bed.

Additional benefits for members include 2 pieces of free laundry per day and some macarons. Free WIFI is available and works solid. The bathroom is combined with the bedroom and next to the wardrobe, there is a window blind if one wishes to increase privacy. Bathrooms feature the standard Pullman toiletries, a bathtub and a separate shower. Sadly only one basin which is a bit of a let down for a suite.

The Pullman Bangsar is a very decent 5-star property, well maintained with a superior member recognition and all the amenities one can expect. Located pretty much in the middle of all the places you would want to go in Kuala Lumpur I would say it is quite convenient. While not the most luxurious property in Kuala Lumpur, by all means it provides a fantastic value for money and I will definitely stay here again in the future.
